Print them out at 100%, cut them out and all the normal stuff. Follow Slug’s instructions, steps one through seven.<\/p>\n

Next, cut your foot of nylon rod at 11 1\/4″ and drill and tap both ends.<\/p>\n

If you’ve made a +bow, most of the steps should be pretty obvious to you. The 3\/4″ left over piece of nylon rod needs to go through the hole in the catch plate, and be attached to the back plate via the hole and a 3\/8″ screw. Drill and tap a 7\/64″ hole vertically through the rod, then run a 3\/4″ screw threw it to keep the catch spring in place.<\/p>\n

Follow the construction log from step 9 up to step 26, skipping 14-16 if you’re not making a grip. You’ll need to cut the plunger tube part down to 11″ in length. You’ll notice that when you’re putting in the bushing, plunger rod and spring, you’ll have to compress the spring just to get the bolt into the bushing. This is the main source of the increase in power.<\/p>\n

For a priming handle, I just cut a 2.5″ by 3\/4″ rectangle out of 1\/4″ polycarbonate, rounded the corners and smoothed out the surface. I drilled a 5\/32″ hole through the center, and attached it tightly to the plunger rod with a 3\/4″ screw.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
